After the East of England FSB area awards in March where we won the Micro Business of the Year Award, we were automatically put through to the next round at the FSB National Awards. The glitzy ceremony took place on the 3rd May at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel and was attended by over 600 guests – including MP’s, Chairman of the FSB Mike Cherry and small businesses from across the UK – Prime Minister Theresa May even made an appearance via satellite link, with a message congratulating all the business owners.
The many highlights of the ceremony included the spectacular host Impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw, who delivered a brilliant routine of celebrity and politician impressions. New Noise Audio featured in the ‘Micro Business of the Year’ national category alongside 11 other small businesses, however sadly we didn’t win the top prize this year. There were 11 award categories in total including product innovation, ethical and green business and also digital business of the year awards, where 12 UK nations and regions competed for the national titles.
Team New Noise Audio had a brilliant time at the FSB National Awards and we’d recommend small businesses to definitely apply and take part in the future. We are also members of the FSB, which delivers many benefits including legal advice, business support and insurance and even lobbying in Parliament on important business issues.
Fingers crossed for hitting the top spot in next years FSB regional and FSB National Awards!
