Madly In Love Spotify Advert for YouthNet

New Noise Audio and teenage support charity YouthNet joined forces to produce the companies Spotify advert, bringing awareness to their latest Madly In Love (#MadlyInLove) campaign. Madly In Love is a an Innovation Labs project funded by Comic Relief, The Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Nominet, which focuses on the combination of dealing with love, relationships and mental health issues.

YouthNet wanted an ear-catching, bespoke advert concentrating on a series of words from songs to make up a sentence, “Whether you’re happy or down, sometimes it’s hard to explain your emotions.” To pay out for a license to use popular songs would increase the cost of YouthNet’s budget considerably, so we decided to create our own songs to sound like current chart music instead.

We got together a group of existing musicians to create the vocals for the advert in one simple studio sitting, then our expert Producers created the bespoke music. Lastly, the script was written and the voice over was created to form the 30-second Spotify advert.

We were ecstatic to work with YouthNet and thoroughly enjoyed the project. Their Marketing Manager Oliver Drackford said of his experience in dealing with us:
